Smoking ribs with a deceptive dark ale I brewed that has mellowed nicely to finally be somewhat deceptive and needed a smoke while I smoke so reached in and grabbed a CAO Black via @Usafvet509 :
This is a nice mild smoke. Had I have known I likely would have grabbed a lighter styled beer. Ever try these with an IPA? I've only had a Kudzu that didn't kill the hops.

Smoking a couple slabs of center-cut ribs
Cherry, oak, and pistachio shells on a bed of Kingsford briquets. I use the 3-2-1 method, that's 3 hrs in the smoker, 2 hrs in the oven, and 1 hr on the grill. But I've found it best to do more like 2.5-1.5-20 min, otherwise the ribs get overcooked.
And I'm adding to the local smoke load with a Cain Habano toro. Hope the EPA doesn't show up

'15 V Maduro, I'm not minding the 60rg too much today. Plus I'm inside, and the smoke is billowing off this thing, probably as much smoke as I've ever gotten from any cigar.
