Do you ever get a funky 'soda' taste from those? A flavor like plain seltzer water or something like that?
I get that flavor from the MXII and find it off-putting. I have a box of the robustos aging in hopes that it goes away but so far it's still there.

I have not. I’ve mostly bought the small ring Daggers but had also a 5er of their Robusto. I’ve always felt they were outstanding, especially for the price.
