Got those around 2 months ago maybe 3. First in the tupper with 65% bovedas the last 3 weeks in the cooler at 62-64 rh. It's the second Crux I've tried the first one was the Bill and Bear( i think thats the name) and it was in the B&M for like 3 years the owner pointed it out when i asked about aged sticks. He didn't charge any extra thank god. Because that one i didnt care for either. Maybe they just ain't my thing. The first one smoked fine i just didn't dig it. This one was just seriously plugged.

Ya know I've been keeping the cello on all my gars that come wrapped. Those have been the ones giving me trouble lately, while the uncelloed sticks have been smoking perfectly. Might have ta remove that packing material from the rest of the stash. Who knows ?

A non-BOTL friend at work gave me a little wooden box of 4 Don Ruperto cigars, which he had received as a gift and stuck in his closet a couple years ago. About six months ago, I was at his desk, and somehow (?!) we got on the subject of cigars. I'm semi-famous in his building as the guy who rolls his own cigars. Anyway, he remembered that he had these cigars in his closet and gave them to me. They were dry as a bone of course, so I promptly administered humidor therapy.

FFWD to today, I'm trying the first one out, with approx. 6 months of rehabilitation. It's not bad, but I think it's still a little dry - I'll try another in 6 months or so. I hope they're not the point of no return!

I don't know anything about this brand, but I think it's Dominican. Tastes Dominican anyway, outside of being a little too dry. I dig the barber pole wrapper - I've never worked up the ambition to try that myself.

March first afternoon cigar. A. Fuente Sun Grown 8 5 8 Maduro...6x47. This fine aged Cigar courtesy of WNYTONY wore brown cello before that cover was stripped and this sweet Lonsdale/Toro? was set alight.Ultra smooth smoke.

Well I've been pretty tied up for at least the last week, but finally an having time for a Punch little cigar while I grill some Cajun sausage. I have no idea how my wife knew how effective those zip ties were for keeping people tied up, but I know she knows now. Gotta' watch my $h!t these days if I still wan't the the whole freedom bell ringing stuff to continue.....

Third day of third month, another Friday the Thirteenth.

Lost and found Skin Suit...5x50.
First one for me, courtesy of WNYTONY. Not much for note taking, if I can't remember what I wrote most often can't decipher the scribbling, did try to jot down a few thing this one time onliest. Easy light.Four minutes along, bit dry or bitter. Nine minutes later much, much better tasting. Right from the get go the draw was excellent. Now and then burn line a tad wavy but not enuff to require touching up.Could not pick up much on retrohale tho after first few minutes it was clear of any bitterness.Could sense little or no complexity, tho doubt I would've noticed any subtle changes anyway.
Note: TONY...Open draw all the way....extra thanks for sending me *this* one.

Hope that pain medication ("getting lit") helps, gives the back a chance to quit acting up.

Thanks bro! Found that gar in a local B&M maybe 1 month ago. Great draw Med body that never wavered. I liked it but i was expecting more, for I've heard good things! Not bad but not great lMO. I'm really a full bodied type of cigar guy, if it ain't full it better taste awesome and this particular gar was lacking a bit in that category. Don't think I'll try again. Still looking forward to try another from the lineup, but this one will stay on the shelf!

These J Blanco's Señorial are dang good smokes. Just shy of 2 months in the tupper and performing flawlessly.

I must add: this is a very mouth drying cigar. Just make sure of some refreshments! [emoji41]
