When I first got into cigars, I was rummaging around the closeout bin at a local B&M and the owner came in and politely told me that the cigars that were in there didn’t sell for a reason, and there were plenty of great “budget” cigars if I didn’t want to spend much. He then put a New World in my hand and said it was the best deal he had in his store. He was not wrong and I left with sage advice that day. Still love these.

I find them to be a very good smoke at a great price point.

I would have to agree with you. Gurkha has some pretty darned good sticks in their arsenal.

So what was your take on the old world? I had a few of their 2nds long ago but it was really the only RP I was a fan of?

I love it. That and the Decade are my top RP sticks. The Old World Maduro is just so smooth and chocolatey and delicious

Been wanting to get more of these since I had once months ago. Still hands down my favorite RP by far, though I am not sure I like it in a Lonsdale, still yummy though.
