I had messaged JR Cigars asking about them having Nat Sherman Point Fives and not the Metropolitans. They said they did indeed have them so I ordered a box of 5 boxes. But I was given the Metropolitans again! Damn it! But since I talked with someone at Nat Sherman and they said these were indeed the exact same cigar (don’t understand why they’d change the name) I decided to try another one. Seemed about the same. I guess the first one I tried was somehow a dud as it had no Maduro character for the first half. I decided to see how well it went with a porter:

Nicely I’d have to say. But then is there a cigar that doesn’t go well with a dark beer?
A nice one for sure!
This one pairs well with a porter as well. Haven’t tried the Sun Grown version. I like it!
Kinda weird with a s’more.
Wondered how this Southern Draw would go with a pale ale. It did nicely.
In my blind sampler I got a box of really small cigarillos. Gotta try that as well (2 now).
Everything about them sux! The burn, the draw, the fact that they don’t stay lit. The flavor is ok, but that’s meaningless with such a crappy smoke. And they claim they’re made with full filler.Last edited by rodwha; 03-01-2019 at 02:43 PM.
