A friend of mine once dubbed this an "Opus Killer" and I'm not going to disagree. If you get the chance, try one of these that's been properly cared for and tell me if you think its a lie.

    Warped - La Colmena

Been SUPER busy lately, but all in a good way (except for cutting into cigar time). Hope everyone is doing well and look forward to scanning the threads to see what I've been missing.

Still a bit fresh and it was temperamental for the first inch, but it settled down after that showing that it has potential. A lighter pack than the Connecticut I'm used to too, but the flavors were good. Lightly earthy with pepper and cedar, not the typical maduro.

Yeah I usually prefer naturals over maduros but this one is pretty mild in the natural. I've got it on my list to grab some the next time I order something at Holt's since they haven't run them on sale in a long time.

Graphic eh? Well, if that's what you want.... I gently toasted the foot and greedily took my initial puff, lightly skimming my tongue along the lower edge of the cap, tasting a rich, salty essence exuding from the tip of the thick cigar, then I more forcefully sucked, pulling plenty of flavorful, white smoke deep into my mouth.

But seriously, it was great. I usually smoke the Lonsdales which, in my opinion create more smoke, but the draw on this wasn't bad at all, lots of smoke, good, even burn. I noticed more of the earthiness and less cocoa on this size than the lonsdale. I haven't tried the new version as of yet, it's been out of stock everywhere I check.

Caldwell The T... does it irritate anyone else that it is called "The T" and yet the band has 3 keys on it? Why isn't it called the Key?!

OK when is the book coming out? Fifty shades of maduro.
