Two timing the Magicos on Monday. LaImperiosa Magicos Oscuro...4.5x52.
Smoking the same brand/blend two days in a row is starting like like a habit.
Only a single cigar on Monday.
Again the La Imperiosa Magicos, and this one had a bit more power over the first half.
Burn time: One hour and forty-five minutes, not too shabby for a shorty.

Much different from the regular Undercrown with hint of vanilla and cream. Very nice and almost completely different cigar IMO.

Brohiba tonite. Is good :)
Tuesday' smoke. HR Sublimes...6.5x54.
First one of these in awhile, still the most flavourful cigar I've smoked this year. While the Robianas hold their own with other Havanas, such as the RASS, these Hirochi Robiana blended cigars match, in every respect those produced by Don Pepin Garcia, it's the complex flavour changes that's the real story. With every size in the HR line right at the same flavour level despite a realitvely high price point there's that value for money that makes them a real treat.
A big cigar, my favourite pen 's kinda dwarfed along this cigar.

Final Cigar. Grimalkin robust...5x50. Not my ideal size, but one of my all time favourites from THE blender Don Jose Pepin.
Going to miss, heck miss 'em already, this Brand/Blend.
Burn time.Two hours,nine minutes.

H Upmann Legacy corona
To the best of my recollection a Corona was a big cigar, that is a full sized one, then there were Panatelas/Lonsndales and Churchills.
Perfectos were I think a slightly shorter cigar than the Coronas, the shape very popular tho.
Don't recall any cigars, other than Novelties, with ring Gauges of 50 or larger.
Tho I do smoke some of the larger sizes now,, I'm back to the Corona ~ Lonsdale ~ Lancero sizes most of the time.
Expect have come full circle in terms of Ring Gauge...right back to when Cars had Running Boards.
The few coronas I've had were mid 40 ring and about 5.5".
I've even had the little smokes from CAO and Nat Sherman that are just under 40 ring and about 4" strike my fancy. I don't care for anything much smaller though. Avo also has one but it's hard to find so I haven't tried them.
The Kudzus I got for Christmas are toros (52 x 6) but box pressed, and a lancero (40 x 6.5). Love these smokes!
Hi Bob, Southern Draw makes some really fine cigars, don't often see them mentioned, but they're good. Seeing as how you're in Texas reckon you don't have a hard time finding them. Firethorn are nice as are the Quick Draw, Petite Coronas.
Funny thing, "Corona" is a pretty flexible in terms of size, some being 7" in length and 44 Ring Gauge...Panatela/Lancero size.
There're a few Gems in the 35-36-37 RG, little hard to find, but they're there.
Cheers,
Bob.
I've only had the Kudzu but have been wanting to try the others. I was handed one while visiting a local brewery where I had met an owner two weeks prior at a beer/music festival and got to talking about a jalapeņo cream ale. Very nice fellas out there at Solid Rock Brewery!
Not bad, but not great either.

Stopped at the shop on my way home, a four day weekend calls for some special treats. Burned this on my drive.

Compliments of @cheaphumidors
Only this. La Imperiisa Magicos Oscuro...54.5x52. On a damp and dreary December day a blue banded cigar seemed quite fitting.
Shoulda plugged in and turned on the Heater, or smoked indoors.
It was one of this gang pictured

Dressing up as @AlanS today with a Regius Black Corona
Nothing. Can't feel the left side of my face. I have a strong dislike for dentistry.
Sent from here.
Had a pleasant Torano Master this evening, courtesy of our friend @AlanS . Good solid smoke, burned for about two hours, the second of which was a bit chilly as the propane in my heat lamp depleted and winter is starting to set in here in northern VA. Time for a trip to Tractor Supply to fill up the gas bottles!
Trying an Ivy this morning, gonna be a two cigar day for sure.
