sent from my bag phone
Gurkha (series uncertain) Torpedo with Diet Pepsi on a cool to chilly but clear night.
My neighbor gave me a bundle of 20 of these as well as an Ashton Torpedo (single). He's been asking me how they taste so I lit one up even though they're bone dry. Not too bad and not badly made. I think that they're several years old and almost as long dry so I'll put them to sleep in the higher rh box (~69) for months and try them then.
Nice and unexpected gift.
I wouldn't hesitate to smoke another one. My palate isn't refined enough to distinguish different flavors but I found it to be very consistent and smooth throughout. CI lists it as a full bodied cigar but I'd consider it more of a medium body. I think this one had some age on it so that may be a factor also.
