I'd have to go back and check to know for sure, but this one has been sitting around 9 months I'd guess (+/- 1) and it sure seemed to have mellowed nicely. About how long does it take before it's noticeably smoother?

David, that's a stick that I like just fine either way. The maduro has a deeper, almost meaty taste to it, the natural has a more defined spice note, I find. Both have a good deal of balanced power, with, to me, the edge going to the maduroQuote:
