Well here is the update on Jack, we were right they kept him this morning. In just a week it went from part of his intestine inside the right side of his chest to having his liver, gallbladder and spleen pushing up into it as well. Both of his lungs were severely compressed, he had such a rough week. They started the surgery at noon, and at 2:30pm we got the call. Thank God, the surgery was a complete success, they got everything back down into his abdomen where it belonged, and sealed the hernia. They have 24hr round the clock staff to monitor and what not. When my wife called the last time at 10:00pm they said he was already standing up drinking a bit of water and his oxygen levels were between 98-99, and all other vitals had stabilized since 2hrs post-op. We find out in the morning if we can bring him home, it will be a bit of a recovery, but MANY prayers were answered today. Thank you all so much for the support and kind words. This has been a gut wrenching week, and a day I don't wish on anyone.

That is FANTASTIC news Chris. He is one very lucky puppy to have been adopted by a family that would advocate so well for him.
