Followed the Chuck with a Tiff. The size and box press of these makes them go too fast for my liking - just when I'm settling in and enjoying them, I'm pulling the band and then it's over.

Sorry I’ve been MIA,
Puppy got severely sick again last Wed night was at the ER vet till 3 am, then regular vet the next morning. Wife and I had to “sleep” with him in living room for 4 nights. Between my health issues and stress I got sick myself, so first day I’ve felt like trying to enjoy a stick. Been missing you all and hope Milton didn’t hit any of you too hard. Might be on sporadically for a bit longer till I’m feeling back to my normal, but sure feels nice to have a good cigar after a while.

A good cigar. Surprisingly strong for a Connecticut. Supposed to be reminiscent of old Davidoff. Blended by the brother of Eladio Diaz, formerly of Davidoff, whose name also happens to be Eladio.

It had an unfortunate crack in the wrapper. Seemed more like a nick, as it extended beyond the wrapper through the binder. I had to cover the hole like I was playing a lute until it burned past that point. This detracted a bit from the experience.

The name implies it may have flavors of peanuts or peanut butter.
I have tasted peanut notes in cigars before without the power of suggestion. I will see if this one delivers.

Thank goodness the weather is nice, the high was only 86 today. The electric company estimates we will have power restored on Thursday, 8 days from when we lost it. That includes the office, we haven’t been able to work since Tuesday, I cannot imagine what we will be walking into on Thursday.

From @Tombstone . Been wanting to try these Espinosa bundle smokes. Many times my cigar sessions get abruptly interrupted by the kids or a clogged terlet (by the kids). Literally, the moment I snap a pic of this bad boy and am in full enjoyment mode, what happens?...a call from my 11 y/o daughter and her friend, from the oceanfront, demanding I come figure out the bike lock. Had to jimmy the lock off and thankfully it snapped. Gonna give the E a relighting when I get back, but damn am I glad (and why I'm interested in bundle smokes) this wasn't a $20/LE/Gurkha.
