Serino 20th anniversary Royale Connecticut Toro from the @chain_gang serino sampler. this one like the others in this batch had some serious yellow cello. Wrapper was darker than usual for Connecticut I am familiar with. This was a smooth mellow smoke with nice flavors. Connecticut's are not my fav probably because I dont smoke enough of them to appreciate them but this one was really good with smooth flavor and I would definitely try some of them again from Community Cigar where Matt got them.

Early Thursday Evening smoke.
A little over Seven inches length and sixty Ring Gauge.
A gift at the right time, since I'm all out of cigars. Naturally it got burned a couple Hours after arrival.
No idea of origin, and even after smoking not at all certain of wrapper, binder or fillers.
Easy light, slow and even burn start to finish, lots of smoke...solid medium from the start with some noticeable increase thought out the final third.
Never got too hot in the hand nor bitter, excellent construction and retrohales really nice. Forgot to note the burn time, but it must've close to Three Hours.
Do not remember ever smoking a cigar of this size & girth in the past. Hand rolled long fillers no band if there had been once it likely would've read "Tombstone."
A well timed much appreciated gift I enjoyed smoking from near Sun down to full dark. Thinking back this may well have been a Nicaraguan cigar.
So long as I don't run out of Coffee would like to smoke a couple more of these.

My Father Friday

My Father Friday.
Afternoon smoke. Nestor Miranda Special Selection Gran Toro 8x60.
It's been a few years since I smoked a Nestor Miranda Cigar. That one a Lancero sent Me , I think by Defeatis. A fantastic Cigar, smoked along with a couple cigars of the same size. That Nestor Miranda a whole lot better than even the Fathers. Looked around to get more of the Nestor Mirandas only to learn that They were gone. Pepin Garcia had stopped making them for Miranda.
Now they're back thonot the Lancero size so far. My thinking is that Pepin Garcia would make the cigars as close to the earlier ones as possible . Didn't think that the new iteration could be as good as the Lancero I liked so much. After all years/crops would not be alike.

Saturday Afternoon.
Bolivar Cofradia Robusto 5x54.
Couldn't stand the sight of the totally empty Humidor for too long. Enjoyed smoking the fresh rolled Cigars from nearby local shops.
But had to pick up some smokes from the usual online spots.
Have been meaning to try the Non Cuban Bolivars for some time but somehow kept passing over them.
First one smoked of the fiver. Nice long burning Cigar, Ring Gauge larger than My usual pSref ,but smoke output good and retrohales smooth, smoked slowly the Cigar never got too hot.
Did not notice much change of flavour from lighting up to the final puffs.
Would've like some pepper, guess having smoke a few more'n a few of Don Pepin Garcia cigars I just expect that pepperiness.
Burn time was longer than anticipated at an Hour and Thirty Nine Minutes.

Crowned Heads Sunday.
Early Morning Crowned Heads CHC Serie E Petite Edmundo 4.3x48.Even in the bright morning Sunlight the Oscuro wrapper looks really dark.
Maybe I just needed a couple more cups of good hot Coffee or less dark sunglasses.
Oh Yeah the Cigar. good construction, easy light, good draw evenish burn. Burn time: Thirty Eight Minutes.
If one has to be awake and exposed to all this Sunshine this little Cigar is not a bad choice.

Thanks, TJ for the info. I would never have made that connection. But having read Your post it sure makes sense, seems right. During the Covid time releasing a small size Cigar be perfect timing for any smoker trying to 'sneak' in a quick smoke before the Hyenas came for Him. Plus that smaller size might've led to a second or even a third smoked per Day. This is I think My first time to smoke.
And I did burn a second one this evening.
Crowned Heads Sunday second round.
Crowned Heads CHC Serie E Petite Edmundo 4.3x48.
Slowed down smoking time hopefully pick up on a change or two that might've been missed this Morning when smoking My first one of these.
Only thing I noticed was how consistent the taste, was. The slowing down to allow more chance/time to focus on how a cigar might be evolving, yielded the sane result as the first time I tried this slowing down.
A shorter burn time Thirty Five Minutes. Three Minutes less than the Morning Cigar.
