Also, how does one get paid to smoke Eastern Standards? That sounds amazing!
This is a very good smoke, not quite as strong as an Eastern Standard but very satisfying. I work next door to home so if I get stuck outside.... Yuo get the idea.

This is what I'd posted yesterday...
[TAA Angels Anvil 2014...7.25 x 49...Really slightly less than 48 ring gauge...and that size suits me, smooth smoke, haven't had to touch up or relight, burn line very even...fine on retrohale, which I do a lot of whenever smoking...better than two hours with at least another 20-25 minutes to go. So far just what I like in a Churchill cigar.]
Did get another 22 minutes time from this cigar.
Since I seldom can post pix, wanted to get these up.
TAA

Today's smoke was a Paul Stulac Classic Blend Lord, Lonsdale...6x44

Neverbend's mentioning the New Orleans Chicory Coffee had me thinking/remembering. Seems there was more of the Chicory Coffee in the years following the Second World War.Some ex Navy had acquired the taste for the Chicory added during those years.
Anyway, don' t see much Chicory Coffee on store shelves round here now.
Cafe au Lait, Cafe con Leche. Or when asking for Coffee in England/Wales...White or Black?
Sure glad there's Coffee. Need, really need that.
Addicted to Coffee, do think Coffee and Cigars pair up well any time. Seems as if most morning smokers opt for the milder cigars.
I've just finished third cup a Java...and time, past time to grab a smoke
.Something My Father....Ok, a #1 Robusto 5.2x52 is about get warmed up. Last of the day, my day, Night Owl that I am.

Morning Bob,
This tin of coffee is special because my younger daughter bought it for me. They're all adults but I'm a real mush when my kids get me anything.
2013 Partagas 1845 Crystal with Cafe du Monde chicory coffee light. I was thinking this AM that I like this coffee enough to get some more.
A nice looking cigar, oily sheen and five sunspots (4 visible). Like chicory coffee that once had a following, there was a time when some BOTL looked for these freckles on their sticks.
Exceptionally dark, nearly maduro, this is easily the best of these Partagas that I've had (~4), very deep with rich fruit. Medium-full, with a perfect burn and a nicely spiced (not spicy) snork. Is it the sunspots?

With gun deer season 3 weeks away I got out my deer rifle with plans to hit the range and make sure it was sighted in. I noticed the scope was loose and somehow one of the rings was stripped and wouldn't properly tighten. Put a new set of rings on it a couple of days ago and am heading to the range in a few minutes to get it dialed in. Grabbed a Jericho Shots for the 30 minute drive to the range. Rifle is an old 1903A3 Sporter with a old Weaver V9-W scope. I am glad I checked my setup early and didn't wait til the last minute.
