Surveyor made me furious with their worthless employees. Daughter in a less than wonderful mood. Time for a trusty Mag 44.

First batch of Colisseum were good, medium bodied, sweet with a touch of spice with acceptable and consistent construction so I bought several bundles a few months later that have been inferior and less consistent.
I bought the box of Loyal on price (< $30) but the 56 RG Robusto is thicker than I like. The Loyal that I smoked last night is the best that I've tried but the others have been all over the place.
I expect that the Colisseum (at least a partial 'exclusive' of CI) and Loyal are not of the quality of the Torano that you've enjoyed.

Hi Pete,
Thanks for your information regarding the Torano cigars.
Those I smoked, and it was about seven years ago.All had several years of age on them when I purchased them.
That time spent in a distributors warehouse at constant temp/humidity ...so more or less perfect conditions for aging.
I'm thinking to try just those "core"lines again. The boxes I had were either Robusto or Toro sizes.
Yesterday was the first or second day this year that I smoked only one cigar.
Picking my first for today, should allow a chance to see ,if with a bit of focus, I'll be able to sense more of the flavour
changes as the cigar is reduced to ashes.

About to ignite a Bahia Gold White Label. Never had one before, no idea what to expect, but I have enjoyed other Bahias and these were cheap, which speaks to something deep inside me

That's a great budget stick.
You can find them on the devil site for a couple bucks a stick. Great value.
