Puffing away at a Xikar HC Maduro. Picked it up cheap on the devil site the other day. It's okay, nice flavor if a bit harsh. I think the rest of them need to convalesce a while. Lots of smoke
Medium/strong in the Vitamin N department. Wrapper splitting a bit at the head, but I think I have a dull cutter.
You oughta know not to stand by the window, somebody see you up there.

First cigar in a month or more.
I've been smoking a pipe here lately since its been so hot. Haven't really wanted to dedicate an hour and a half on the balcony.

2013 Pinar Del Rio Seleccion Toro. Coffee light no sugar. Listening to Seattle Sports Radio and just missed Russel Wilson.
Oppressively muggy but the sun's out there somewhere so it's a good day.

2012 Pinar Del Rio Classico Toro.
I rated these the best of the Ecuador Connecticut wrapper cigars in my post and this one is reinforcing that contention.
More flavor, presence and snap, with a smooth and rich aftertaste. The tastes are nicely balanced and I prefer them to the Oliva Connecticut.
