Suns going down and the temp is finally below 100...getting a little evening CAO Brazilia action going.
The drink is what I call a Big B Slammer...organic lemonade, club soda, and spiced black rum. Goes well with this stick.

Considering it's my very first roll it's not bad. Flavors seem muddy with pepper primary and lingering but not overpowering. Kind of a mash of coffee, cocoa, earth and leather. Would be nice to get the blend so each is distinct. Roll is average and should get better with experience. Better than some commercial sticks I've had.

With the temps you're getting I'd think you might well need a refill or two of those "Big B Slammers" per cigar.
Swear I'll be looking into that spiced black rum. Have to be ready for the hot days ahead.
If I can put something together, working from your recipe, that tastes anywhere as refreshing as the drink in the photo above.
IT'll surely take some of the sting out of the hottest days and nights ahead.
Thanks much for this post.
Enjoy the Slammers and the Smokes.

They are refreshing indeed! I came up with the little recipe in Hawaii. Everyone was using spiced rum and POM juice. It was alright but a little too fruity and sweet for my liking...I wanted something more tart that would play with the sweetness of the rum. I ended up picking up some Santa Cruz lemonade on a whim and blamo...the Big B Slammer was invented
I suggest using either Sailor Jerry's, The Kraken, or Sugar Island. All 3 compliment the Lemonade well.
Happy Smokes!

Sosa robusto. Very nice. And a $2 dollar stick! Dang!
