No need to thank me! I'm glad they are being enjoyed. :)

It's a little early for Fuentes Friday, but I didn't want to waste this beautiful evening without smoking something nice.

Morning Bob,
How did you like Cuesta-Rey in the 50s/60s? They had a good reputation until they changed their quality and courted the Drugstore trade with White Owl like 3/4 packs. Someone in the Newman family told me that they were the king of packaged cigars, not exactly a reputation I (personally) would want to have.
Sometime after they introduced La Unica they overhauled the Cuesta-Rey line but I've not tried them (handmade again). My posts may sound as if I don't like Cuesta-Rey (cigar or company) but that's not true, I respect that they did an about face with their quality and surprised the industry when they introduced the La Unica that changed perception about bundles, their company and even Fuente.
AJ Fernandez Pinolero (Toro size) kindly supplied by @BryGuySC paired with Pub Blend coffee (light) kindly supplied by @GWBowman . I am a man beset by generosity on all sides :).
My chemistry seems to agree with Senor Fernandez cigars and this Pinolero is no exception. It's the E.T. version (extra testicle) of his La Herencia Cubana, same flavor profile but more depth, spice and complexity. Big, spicy snork.
Smoked a New World last night paired with a Lagunitas Lil Sumpin Sumpin! Really enjoyed the cigar, I can see why people enjoy them!

About to set light to another Flor Del Valle Las Brumas...4.5x48 maybe these warped cigars more addictive than I thunk.
