Grimalkin Robusto...5x50...Good cigar.
Just going to go ahead and say that the Grimalkin Robusto is the #1 cigar in this size I've smoked.
If...I could pick only one cigar to smoke, no other choices from now on, and that had to be a Robusto, at 48 rg or larger.
The Grimalkin would be it for me. Have only smoked the two sizes of the Grimalkin, Robusto and Torpedo, once the few I have on hand are gone...that's it.
Only cigar I've smoked this year that has been almost as pleasurable is the HR (Hirochi Robiana) they're close... but it's still an*almost*.
Hard for me try to compare, because it's been so long since I've last smoked either the Ramon Alones or La Gloria Cubana, my favourite Cubans, and I do not recall a Robusto in either of those brands.
So all in all...right now...Grimalkin is my #1 choice.
The qualifier for the above is that old...smoke what you like.
Unfortunately I can't compare it for you as I haven't had the Jekyll. But, this stick was decent, in general. To be fair, it really needs more time in the humidor and I'm not convinced mine will be ready to smoke even on Halloween, darn it... Lots of potential though!
