Steve have you noticed any tar in the 888? I'm pretty sure I have had 6-7 including one I think you sent me and all of them (from all different sources) had tar in the head start bubbling after the first thirdQuote:

Always a perfect cutter, the 888 is semi torpedo tipped so it would be hard to punch it. Even when the tar started showing itself I would cut it down 2 or 3 more times to see if that got past it and no diceQuote:

Hey Joel, I have smoked 4 or 5 so far and haven't had any tar problems. I also use a perfect cutter and clip it 3 times before smoking. I am a very slow smoker and draw pretty lightly also. I don't remember ever having a tar problem with any cigar these last 2 years. Maybe the 888 is only for pussy puffers. I have loved every one I have put my lips on.
