Ramon Bueso Genesis Maduro Toro
2009 The Griffin's Robusto with some chilled Jumai Sake, moving nicely through The Royal Succession (Druon). Muggy night but not too unpleasant.
Mow dark horse. Great little smokes for the budget conscious.

It was a damn good smoke, right up until that triple bogey lol
Thanks Trent
@WNYTONY , glad you enjoyed it. I put it neck and neck with the Brazilia for taste, probably because it's a Brazilian wrapper as well
Finally cooled down nuff to really enjoy a smoke on the front porch...a My Fathers Cedro Deluxe Cervantes...6.5 x 44...nice size, nice cigar.
I usually stick with less-expensive sticks. Point of diminishing return and all that. I sprang for an LP9 at the local B&M based on all of the rave reviews I'd read and while it was good, I didn't find it to be very special. I'm not racing out to buy any more of them.
With the understanding that the 1000 series is their "budget" offering, this Padron was still one of the best tasting cigars I have ever smoked. The draw was quite loose and the burn was a little wonky but the flavor profile was fantastic. Earth, chocolate, cream, with a little pepper and coffee in there is what I was getting. And very smooth.
I bought a sampler that includes some of the 1926's and 1964's. After smoking the 6000, I'm really looking forward to trying those!
