@Bruck , no sir, you're not alone. I have had a couple of G2's, and enjoyed both. The new G2 maduro has me thinking about a 5er

Good thing about the wife having class and the kids having a half day, I get a rare midweek mid-day cigar

Had a Queen B with a good buddy of mine before I sent him away for the year...

Another friend of mine gifted me a couple of Queen B's after he found out I lost my last ones to mold...
He owed me anyway, I have provided his smokes for YEARS! Lol.

Smoking this Joya de Nic Belicoso, while I'm "fixin" to smoke some fresh salmon filets and straight from the garden green beans.....Yum Yum!....

Puffing on a Latitude Zero @DogRockets sent me while I drink my red plum ale that didn't quite turn out as plum-like and red as I was hoping (had issues that watered it down a bit) after mowing the grass before it rains again.

Nice smoke Jeremy. Thanks!
Usually they are OK. I've only had one I dumped as I let the mash temp get away from me and created a sickly sweet oatmeal stout. The one major issue I've had seems to be oxidation from time to time. Those start out fine but end up with a bit of a weird twang.
This one isn't bad, though it's just not what I was after. But then when you change up your equipment or methods you have to assume challenges may come. Learning lessons for sure!
As it is this one is just a unique beer. Still good.
@DogRockets : Did you put voodoo on this 5 incher? It's been nearly an hour and I'm merely halfway through it!

Finally smoking the famed Tat Black Petit Lancero! Paired with some Knob Creek neat!
Draw started out a bit tight, trimmed off a bit more and it seems to be opening up. Otherwise pretty enjoyable thus far!
On a side note, I forgot how much bite the Knob Creek has lol

I really like them. They had an odd diamond shaped one that was even better. No sure why but it was.

Well my mother in law has been down since Friday and she went home today. So this calls for some celebration.
I broke out one of my good sticks. :stogie:

GeoBowman very kindly sent me some of the Kudzu, Firethorn and Quick Draw.
All look great, I've only smoked the Firetorn...intending to fire up the other two From Southern Draw with a day or two between each.
Have no reason to think the Kudzu and the Quick Draw won't be of the same top quality.
Fine blending, first rate construction (they must really have highly skilled rollers) and ready to smoke as soon as you get then.
Everything, to me, a good cigar should be.
Makes not one damn bit of sense to me for someone to sell a cigar that is not ready to be enjoyed when purchased.
One could buy/try a cigar, find it to be just, just ok at best...then never light one of that line again.
Thus leaving the maker with one less person who would be a steady customer.
It's my intention try to have some cigars from Southern Draw to hand from now on.

Finished about a half hour ago a Flor Del Valle Las Brumas...4.5x48 only the third of these I've smoked, a "shot in the dark" purchase that's turned out nicely ... lenght, ring gauge (size) offer a nice change from other cigar sizes.
Met one o the owners to Solid Rock Brewing and was handed the Kudzu. Great smoke! And great group of guys there. I was offered all the yeast I could ever want!
They even asked if I'd bring some homebrew. I asked for specifics (it was an open house and needed a head count), but didn't get a reply in time.
Going home, not coming home. lol
And Dustin, there's not a damn thing wrong with a Brickhouse maduro. I haven't tried the natural, but have had several of the maduros and they are a good stick.
ifin I had a mother in law..Id be callin before I came home.....
Very good... I used to keep some of those in the humi, but they're a little too hit or miss for me - they're supposedly mixed filler, made from the leftovers from the more premium lines.
And for purposes of the thread topic, I had a CLE Cuarenta during my TWO HOUR COMMUTE HOME today.
