2013 Arganese Cafe Dominicana with light coffee. This one is in the middle of the others. Very nice snork (btw), fuller, with some spice and a dash of nicotine, than the cigar itself. A bit like driving a small engine, 1960s stick-shift sports car that are more fun once you get the hang of driving it.

Not bad at all!
Nice spice on the retro, I think I'm tasting a little citrus, medium finish, decent burn line. Getting some other flavors too, but nothing I can readily describe. :(
Gonna have to play with my cooking spices.

Nice smoke! Enjoying it. Ash is a little flaky but what the hell! Everything else is good.

LGC Tres Puros, Nicaraguan. Set completed, reviews posted.
I wish I hadn't smoked it last night. It didn't taste that good, but really I couldn't taste much at all. I smoked a ton last weekend, had another at lunch yesterday, and I think my palate was just wrecked.
I'd like to give it another try, cuz I've never had a weak or tasteless LFD yet.

2013 Arganese Cafe Dominicana Breakfast Blend (Toro size, ~6" x 50), pigtail & ragged foot. Coffee light.
I haven't snapped off a pigtail yet but the ragged foot does improve lighting, perhaps as an aid for groggy smokers lighting up in bed as they arise?
As I progress through this box these are consistently inconsistent with with similar but not the same flavors between cigars. Today I'm tasting oatmeal (Yessir! That's a breakfast cigar!) and the snork is subdued.
Took a puck to the mouth last Sunday so no cigars for a bit but I burned this one last Saturday and it was one of the best cigars Ive ever had, if not the best...

2012 H. Upmann Vintage Cameroon Toro (6x54) en cedro. Iced seltzer, Julian Bream playing Bach Lute Suite.
Great looking cigar, wrapper not as fragile as Cameroon can be. Taste does remind of a 1980s H. Upmann, bit more full and tad sweeter but with a much stronger snork (preferred). I probably paid ~$3 in a sampler and it's a good value at that.

Maybe this newer edition will keep the thief away from the My Fathers...
Maybe not ?
Have to, and do, like this post...but this (partial quote) all but jumps from the screen...
"these are consistently inconsistent with with similar but not the same flavors between cigars."
Think I may have smoked some that had...almost those same traits.
Smoked late last night, early this Morning, a Murcielago Toro Grande...6.5x54 that produced as much or more smoke than any cigar I've ever
smoked...and burned slowly...sharp burn line, thinking that the much greater volume of smoke when compared to the Murcielago Churchill is due
to the larger ring gauge. Anyway the amount of smoke from that Toro grande size Murcielago really impressed.
Thanks Pete,for another interesting post.
