I've not had a morning smoke, but at 78* and 58% humidity it's rather nice and fall-like, and with most of my chores done prior to company it seems rather fitting. And so I brought out a moduro @DogRockets recently sent for me to try.

I really like this smoke as it seems to have begun with a unique flavor. Thanks Jeremy!
Went to friends house last night, enjoyed some La Aroma De Cuba Mi Amor's and then we enjoyed too much of this stuff:

Oddly enough, not much pain this AM either!

@Cardinal Tim, I am smoking to Torano Exodus 1959 50 Year that you sent me while the dog took me for a walk. This was the first Torano I have smoked and am really enjoying it. Tons of smoke, perfect size and wonderful taste. Thank you again. I haven't forgotten your address.

I'm pulling another double duty night of aged sticks I bought from Donnie @HabanoMan . First some unbranded little smoke labeled Tat Reserve Petite. It's tiny. Am following that up with a Partagas Black in a glass tube. Have really wanting to try this one out.
Paul Stulac Classic Blend Cross...6x64...one of very few cigars at this ring gauge that I can enjoy smoking.

Now that is odd...hits you for your night time snacks...
But cleans out my breakfast goodies...I brew coffee only to find my frog legs gone, and no Balut left...
the changing of tactics must be meant to make us think we're imagining this...
Never steals my nighttime snack, leaves the Sheep Head alone.
If I've left CigarBum on the computer overnight but that My Father smoking SOB replaces it with this video...

I'm going to leave this video on the computer, playing at loudest volume over night hope it'll distract him from raiding the humidor.
Smoked a Pauil Stulac Classic Blend Cross earlier...about to light up a My Father Cedros Deluxe Cervantes now that i've had my fill of Chicken Pork Adobo.
Light up something nice and burn the night away.

Pete, this caught my eye in your post. " Perhaps it's individual body chemistry."
I too have found a couple of well regarded brands that for whatever reason I do not like. Just something that hits the wrong note, for me.
Know of a couple of cases of people who have bad to very bad reactions to certain drugs/medicines that most will have no problems when taking.
Doctors/pharmatcists tend to use the "it's the same medicine in a generic as in the branded drug." tend not believe anyone who doesn't agree with them.
However...fillers make up the bulk of most meds...and some one thing or some combination may cause problems, even if only for a few people.
Not to hard for me believe that a wrapper or filler leaf grown in one place might affect a blend differently that the same variety grown at another location.
Would expect that even if one were to hate the first brand/blend smoked. There likely is another that they would enjoy. Whole lot of cigars out there.
Stick # 1 from the 2015 SnS kit. Don't know what it is (blends have not been released yet) but damn was it good!!

Double maduro

Well woke up naturally at 4 am on a day off. No need.to waste the morning. Smoking a Pudgy Wolfman now.
I always have these in the humi. Construction and draw are always flawless. Lovely notes of cocoa, coffee and liquorice.
My first La Paulina, and its really good.

A few years ago my son took me to a local B&M and insisted on buying me a couple of cigars. I was a B&M and would like to support them but the State Tax makes prices prohibitive but my son wouldn't leave until I'd selected a La Aroma de Cuba Monarch (~$10.50) and a Sancho Panza Glorioso (~$8).
The La Aroma was good, very well made, nice notes but the flavor wasn't crisp enough to be exceptional.
I knew the Sancho Panza well, had smoked many boxes of them but the proprietor claimed that they were better because he'd aged them for 3 years. He kept all of his cigars spanish style. I believe him because it was a wonderful cigar, very retro-cubanesque (did I invent a term?), rich, saturated leather with a touch of earth, consistent throughout with a complex core of cocoa and white pepper and a long and even burn.
I bought a couple more boxes of the Gloriosos, I admit on the Devil Sight, and though intended to have them age 3 years, someone removed them, one by one from my humidors before that time. With the Sancho Panza the store was able to give added value to offset the price but it pains me to see how much these oppressive taxes hurt these businesses. I have enough money to afford cigars but not the tax.
I'll try the double maduro, thanks.
