You are so very right, it's far too hot to enjoy smoking on the front porch. But I'm about to light one of two remaining Davidoff long Panatellas.
The last of, ten, I think in a white tin with the date on the bottom of *10 A 8 08* can't recall how long it's been since the others were smoked.
Just want to get a smoke in now.
Then once it has cooled down somewhat, this evening will smoked the last Los Calaveras lC46 I have.
Didn't intend to smoke this one until 03 October, but just learned a very dear friend of more than 45 years died on September 3rd,it must be smoked tonight.
Doubt there's much chance of finding another for the October date, but if I'm still above ground, will think of something else.
This Davidoff, I've just lit, is rather dry, not a lot of smoke production, but, so far not as bad as feared...mild not a lot of flavour, but it's a very small ring guage, not burning at all fast...and that is good. Only a very short way into this cigar, and the amount of smoke has just about doubled. Not bad for what must be a rather Mild
cigar.Still more smoke production with no more than a quarter smoked...not at all bad from a cigar I expected would prove to be unsmoke able.
Finally lighting up an Old Henry that @AlanS gave me for my birthday. I think it's the maduro one. Not sure why I didn't keep the box the sampler came in!
Have heard only good things about the Old Henrys...looking forwards to hear your take on that cigar.
Regarding the box...
"Heres to the girl in the little red dress
She ain't got her cherry, but that's no sin;
She's still got the box it came in."
And you still get to smoke that cigar.

Time to see how these are.
Smoking something now called Estella. Can't remember where I got this. Hope it's a worthy follow up to the Old Henry.
I got a few of these in the mail Saturday and smoked one today. I should have given it a couple of weeks to stabilize after being in the mail in 85 degree weather this past week. Taste was delicious but the wrapper flaked terribly.

Not as nice an evening, with Humidity at 84 and temp at 75F...but right time to smoke this cigar.
Air quality still rather bad as I'm posting here.

Padron Delicia with my morning coffee.
@DogRockets sent me a care package full of maduros as I was asking them. Thanks to @jhedrick83 who sent him several, and seeing they were good sent one my way.
Though a little big (60 ring?) for my small frame I find this to be fantastic!!! I must confess that it also jogged my memory and I feel I was sent a small stick in a Maduro wrapper, which I also liked.

Getting more smoke out of this than my last ten cigars combined! Little smoke bomb. Sweet

My Father #4 Lancero...7.5x38...some time since I smoked one of these, tho I remember it was a good smoke, can't recall how long the cigar lasted.
Maybe keeping some kind of notes would be useful. But not for me.Last of the My father #4 I have.
Edit: Burn time, until put down with about 1" left...an hour and three quarters.
They are solid Maduros IMO. You can get a box of 25 from @FamousSmokeShop for about $105 IIRC. Great with a little bit of time. Those are about 2 years old.
It's a 54 RG.
Very nice! I'm only about 2/3rds through it! Talk about the gift that keeps on giving!!!

CLE Cuarenta. Nice stick and not too expensive on the devil site. Trivia - this stick was to commemorate Christian Eiroa's 40th birthday a few years ago.

Crownded Heads Tennessee waltz...5.5X50...a more than fair presentation of Don Pepin Garcia's blending mastery, a cigar that much like a three ring circus has a lot going on at once, rum and again rum again with Buena Vista Socal Club shimmering in the backgound...time well spent indeed.
