In the early 1990s, I'd buy 6-8 boxes of (Miami made) La Gloria Wavells at a time so you can rest assured that I complained bitterly when they jacked the price to $1.35 a stick (from $1.25) and boxes from $25.00 to $27.00! Outrageous!
Early this AM I had a (rare) bad 2013 Macanudo Hyde Park. It had a long canoe burn with diluted taste and a spongy and soft fill.
Later I smoked a 2013 Romeo Y Julieta 1875 Bully (robusto) and it too tasted wan with a spongy and soft fill. It didn't canoe but it did develop two burn spots above the burn line and a there was a good sized hole in the wrapper that's usually picked up by QC. Very much a cheap cigar except for brand and price paid (unusual for R&J).
From the same humidor, and speaking of La Gloria, I'm smoking a 2005 La Gloria Corono Gorda and I'm no longer in Cigar Bizarro World :). The band artwork has always been very kewl too.
from the same humidor, (as the two problem cigars earlier)...
2013 Macanudo Hyde Park. Not sure what happened this AM but this stick is fine. The positive is that I've smoked up 2 bad sticks and they're not in my futures. Iced Diet Coke with Willie and Lobo.
Robbie Levine of Holt's is a class guy and he (and his guys) know cigars. I've found most of their private labels to be decent smokes and I've got nothing but good things to say about them even if I went over to the Dark Side at the Devil Sight (where you can see the devil and he can see you!).
Spectacular day here, hope it is for you folks as well.
Murcialego Toro with some Four Roses Single Barrel. Really nice pair...
This one was quick and tasty. (Which is what my girlfriend used to say about me back in college.)

The investment property went through the planning and zoning boards this week. Today I received a letter of intent to sue from the neighbors. Good thing it's Friday!

Just about 10 minutes in to a CAO LX2 Lancero from my fried Trent @Usafvet509
Thank Trent. Draw is pretty tight but will burn through the obstruction. Flavor is very good!
My Father Le Bijou 1922 tonight. My first one. Hope it's good!
Another cream bomb LC46.

Had a really shitty week at work so I wanted something good tonight to start the weekend off right.
In May we went to Panama City Beach and I picked up some Ligas. I've had a T52 sitting in the humidor at 63% for 3 months now so I decided to fire it up tonight.
Never had one before and I figure this size will probably be a 2+ hour smoke. I'll update later. :stogie:

For me this is one that's really, really nice to smoke.
Then next time I light one up I'm always that bit more impressed.
Everything about this cigar is so close to perfection and they do smoke above their price point.
Very nice to have a few in the Humidor, tho kinda hard to leave them in there for long.
Fell asleep for a few hours and now I can't fall back asleep so it's out to the deck on a chilly night ~60 degrees) with
2013 Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur #2 (Toro). Otherwise, night all, I'll turn off the lights.
Not quite sure when this stick is from but ~2011. Hope that the photo shows

La Aurora Doble Maduro corona ~(5-1/2" x 44 rg). Very oily stick and tastes the part to start.
I'm fortunate to be a cigar smoker when a bout of insomnia hits :).
Nothing beats working from home, out on the deck with a coffee and a cigar and a nice sunny morning.
