Illusione Rothschild. Pretty lame start, but after the 2nd 3rd it really came to life.

First one of these I've had and I'm really liking it
Dig the small ring - thanks Troy
Smoking a pig because it's going to be a good week. Setting it in motion because this week doesn't have any other option.

I found a ~2009 Montecristo Double Corona lurking in the back of a humidor in a baggie by itself. Wrapper was damaged but I tried to smoke it but more wrapper kept flaking off so I clipped the burning end and may use the remainder to blend for pipe tobacco.
2011 Partagas 1845 Toro Grande as the replacement cigar. Very muggy morning.
L'Atelier Surrogates BP Crystal Baller 5.7x56...on another too hot day.

A Mac Cru Royale with some Johnny Walker 12 yr old. A great sunset in Ancaster Ontario Canada.
Puffing away at a Xikar HC Maduro. Picked it up cheap on the devil site the other day. It's okay, nice flavor if a bit harsh. I think the rest of them need to convalesce a while. Lots of smoke :) Medium/strong in the Vitamin N department. Wrapper splitting a bit at the head, but I think I have a dull cutter.

First cigar in a month or more.
I've been smoking a pipe here lately since its been so hot. Haven't really wanted to dedicate an hour and a half on the balcony.
Tonight it feels pretty good outside so I'm in the last 3rd of a Rocky Patel Edge maduro. Enjoying it very much.
A friend gave me this today so I smoked it on my ride home. A Ventura Project 805 robusto. Pretty good...started mild and finished med.

2012 Pinar Del Rio Classico Toro.
I rated these the best of the Ecuador Connecticut wrapper cigars in my post and this one is reinforcing that contention.
More flavor, presence and snap, with a smooth and rich aftertaste. The tastes are nicely balanced and I prefer them to the Oliva Connecticut.
A couple years on this, not bad with the morning coffee!

It's a Don Rafael by Victor Sinclair in Churchill
Alec Bradley Black Market Toro...smoked at about 4:30 AM...before this day had a chance to turn the heat all the way up.
First Alec Bradley I've had in some time, maybe 4-5 years. This cigar had more than a year's rest before it was lit, received from Dijit in NST.
I don't age or rest cigars. So not always smoking anything that has much age on it.
This Black Market (first of that line I've smoked) was easily the best cigar I've had from that maker.....thanks @Dijit .

Damn, it feels like an October evening out here. Just freakin' crazy. It should be a hunnert (one hundred) degrees, but it might be seventy. May have to put my bloomers on...
Just lit a Paul Stulac White Blinding Light Robusto one of my current favourites, tho I do wish it was in a smaller Ring Gauge than it's 5x54 size.
The Paul Stulac cigars of the same blend/line are very consistant in terms of flavour, over all smoking experience, excellent construction, nice even born, etc.
However, sure do wish he would produce at least one in a Corona size.
S'pect it is a hunnert ri hear...feels thet way....wish twere 70...sholly do.
How do you like that Cigar, like me some Pepin I duz...but havent had any of that line, if you give it a real nice thumbs up...I'll chase after one to smoke.
So...hope you're enjoying that Cigar.
A surrogate cracker crumb at the moment. Pondering what I will have for an after dinner smoke tonight when the kiddos head off to bed.
