Being pretty damn hot out I figured I'd try a shorty that Laynard sent me. A Nat. Digging this too! I tend to steer clear of dark wrappers as most have been a bit more than I care for but this is smooth!

Smoked a CAO anniversary maduro tonight. My first one. Was hoping to love it but it really didn't do anything for me unfortunately.
Still enjoy these

Padilla Series '68 Corojo. Whoever gave me this one, Thank You!!! Very nice...
A decent cheapie, La Finca. Mr JR his own self claims to smoke these frequently
yes indeed. I sent him info of another vendor that has them in stock so it seems they just released their latest batch (cause i checked small batch last week and they were out).
Really great cigar. i would say a close second to the La Colmena Unico Especial which IMHO is the best Warped offering.
my Father #5 Toro 6x56...after 5-6 months in humidor this is smoking very nicely indeed, little trace of pepper when first lit, lots of light blue smoke smoked for two and a half hours, all in all an good smoke.

Short smoke before dinner...

L'Ateliar Trocadero. It's going to be too hot out until next week (hopefully) to enjoy a cigar after this. Need to head to the farm tomorrow and get on the brush hog early Saturday and get busy this weekend...
Just finishing off a Bahia Blu that I started before dinner while trimming the bushes and mowing the weeds. Great yard-gar!
Craving something mild and dug these out from a few years ago. Surprisingly good. Nuts, leather, and some pepper on the retrohale.

A cool Edgar Hoill figurado, and so far it's hold up well to the Ardbeg -

Had to water the grass this evening and figured a short smoke fit the bill. Found another Nat sent by Laynard to try, which I must say went well enough with the IPA that followed me outside.

@Laynard : Which of the Nat's is this?
Papas Fritas early, really early morning smoke, taking advantage of a drop in temp and humidity.
The Papas Fritas remind me of the Villigers in a way.
In Madrid no problem finding Cuban cigars.
In Vitoria Gasteiz can't even find Canary Island cigars.
But, as in most of Europe, you wont have to much trouble locating some Villiger #7 Sumatra cigars.
Five nice sized cigars in a cardboard pack that you carry in your pocket,
much as the way many pipe smokers carried a tin of Pipe tobacco with them.
Now, here are the Papas Fritas, small cigars, in a tin conveniently packaged in a protective tin.
Sure some pipe smokers always carried a pouch of pipe tobacco, some cigar smokers had their leather cigar cases.
But for a fair number of cigar smokers those Villigers were most appreciated.
So for those of us who remember when Lucky Strike cigarettes came in those green tins,
the little tins of the Papas Fritas feel as if they should've always been available.
Murcielago 6.5x64 Toro Grande good two hour smoke.
