JR Cubita mm-mm-mm. I usually avoid JRs, as I have yet to smoke a good one, but a co-worker was quite pleased to score some JRs for 60 cents apiece, which he claimed were not too bad for the money. I'm pleasantly surprised. It's not good, to be sure, but it's not too bad. Would make a good yard work cigar. & the build and burn are excellent. Easily worth 60 cents, but I won't be knocking over old ladies to get at more of them :)
I am buying sampler packs, of many types..so I guess I should start a buy list on the man o wars then..I like that 5-6inch length, so anything in there I'll be picking up..

The second of a couple of JR sticks gifted by a co-worker. This one is an 8.5" Consuega. Not too bad for a JR :)

north of metro......sure does look close
I bought a fiver of these several months ago on Cbid. I like all things Garcia. First one I smoked was pretty one dimensional and honestly disappointing. Will have to try another here soon to see if they've come around. Also quite possible the first one I had was a bit of a dud. It's a CI exclusive, I believe. Glad to see someone here with something good to say, as that gives me hope for my remaining sticks.
Connecticut wrapper tasting week continues here with today's selection an Alec Bradley CT robusto. The mildest of the entries so far with an airy draw and voluminous smoke that was nutty on the finish. Attachment 494
Burning another AB American sungrown corona. Been a great smoke for me this winter.

Diamond Crown Julius Caesar. It was just ok
This afternoon I had a 6X54 Drew Estate Acid Opulence 3 Toro cigar.:stogie: This cigar has been resting in its own little 65% rh humidor since April 2013. This is the only flavored cigar that I have or ever tasted; I refuse to combine this cigar with any of my others be it in humidors or coolerdors. This cigar is dark, heavy, compact and visually beautiful. After lighting this cigar I got a rich oily maduro tobacco taste with floral overtones. The construction of this cigar was excellent with no interfering veins, excellent burn and draw; this cigar is medium bodied and extremely smooth.:cheerful: I am aware that there are many BOTL's who abhor flavored cigars but I will say that this is one absolutely delicious cigar. The flavor profile of this cigar is not one that I would have often, but now that I am aware of its flavor profile; when that itch appears I will definitely grab another one of these.:butterfly: I topped off this smoke with a very large cup of hot coffee and I am happy to say that I discovered something new.:applause:
Up on deck thanks to @Old Smokey
Thx Steve! I've been waiting to try one of these Regius.
