Alright, here are my overall thoughts on the Skinny Monsters

As an overall group, I will say they let me down. The full size and Pudgy sizes fit my particular tastes much better. In saying that, my expectations were high, probably too high, on them. And don't get me wrong, I've smoked a buttload of these since they have been released - probably at least 50. A few notes:

    - I enjoy the Skinny Tiff and Skinny Wolf better than their counterparts in the Pudgy sizes
    - A Skinny Frank is always good - be sure to pair it with a cup of Café Latte or Café Au Lait
    - Skinny Jason, Skinny Drac, Skinny Chuck and Skinny Mummy are solid, though not as good as Pudgy
    - Skinny Jekyll and Skinny Hyde are pretty comparable to their full size versions (they didn't have Pudgy ones)
    - To me Skinny Face was a total let down. It is one of my favorite Pudgies but probably my least favorite Skinny.

This makes me want to pull out a box of these and revisit them to see if my opinions still hold true. Looks like I'll be busy this next week or two!

This inspired me - I smoked a Skinny Jekyll and Skinny Hyde last evening. My previous thoughts on those two hold true. Enjoyable smokes, very similar to their full size counterparts flavor wise. Each took about an hour to smoke. Paired with a glass of ice water. My beautiful wife was by my side and we had a couple of Beatles albums playing (Rubber Soul and For Sale). A very enjoyable way to spend an evening after the kids went to bed!

Smoked a Skinny Tiff yesterday after work. Paired it with iced coffee with a touch of sweetener. I wish I would have added some sweet creamer to it, would have gone better I think. Similar to my thoughts above, it is an enjoyable smoke. I'm not the biggest Connie guy in the world, and there are a few I would reach for ahead of this, but when you're in the mood for a Connie this would be a top 5 probably for me.

I smoked a Skinny Frank today. For some reason this one struggled to stay lit, which led to me puffing more than I would have liked, which led to a not as enjoyable smoke. Paired it with a Starbucks double shot espresso light crème on the rocks. A tasty combination. Skinny Frank isn't as good as the Pudgy Frank. If you are wanting Frank goodness, I'd suggest you grab a Cojonu 2012 Broadleaf instead. It is essentially a Frank with a couple small tweaks (Pete told me this before). The Cojonu 2012 Broadleaf is my favorite cigar on the market hands down.

Had time to smoke two more Skinny today - 6 down, 4 more to go

First I smoked a Skinny Mummy. As I noted previously, while good, I don't enjoy it as much as a Pudgy Mummy or a full size one from their prime. The full size Mummy had a very unique cinnamon taste to it. I've never gotten that in any other cigar I've smoked - and neither the Pudgy or Skinny Mummy had that either. While enjoyable, if you grab a Tat Black (similar to this) you'll probably enjoy that more.

I smoked a Skinny Wolf second. The Skinny Wolf is different from the full size/Pudgy version in that 1) it is round, not box pressed and 2) doesn't have a shaggy foot. I think not having the shaggy foot is why I like the Skinny better than the Pudgy Wolf. When you light up a Pudgy Wolf, the shaggy portion is a bit too "spicy" for my normal taste, and the sweetness from the wrapper takes a bit to burn down to. With the Skinny Wolf, the sweetness of the wrapper kicks in right away. Again, my earlier thoughts still hold true - I like the Skinny Wolf better than the Pudgy Wolf.
