Road trip goodies
Driving out to the east coast this weekend to get my car there ahead of the move and to line up a rental house for when we get there, gotta have the essentials right? 3700 km’s and need to catch a flight on the other end. Any tips on long haul travel?

3700 km, roughly 2200 miles.
Speed limit max 120 km/ hr (75 mph)
29 hours drive time, plus stops.
You need more cigars.

I never smoke cigars in my vehicles. Makes them stink. Only ever (and very occasionally) smoke a pipe in the car and that with the driver's window and passenger rear window rolled down at least an inch apiece. Makes for a nice cross-breeze in my vehicle that whisks the smoke right out. It's not effective with a cigar but with a pipe you can't even tell you smoked it the next day - unless you leave the smoked pipe in the car that is.

What about that inner tube you float around on?

I haven’t often but usually find with the sunroof open and a mason jar ashtray with lid it doesn’t usually get too bad. Going to be a long ass haul though. The longest portion of the trip is through Ontario, where most of the highways are limited to 90km/hr. Probably looking at close to 37hrs according to apple maps. Leaving tomorrow sometime around noon and need to be there by 5pm Sunday. Not looking forward to it but it’s one more step closer...

Drive safe Blake. I would only add to throw in some hard candy to battle any nic overload if you're not used to smoking cigars back to back.
No cigar until you get a par - birdie if it's a scramble !

Bring snacks and limit the water so you won't need to stop anymore than to fill up. Also don't be a hero... if you're feeling tired, switch with the other driver or stop and take a nap. Tired driving is more dangerous than drunk driving, so please stay safe.
P.S. love the efficiency of the precut sticks.

It bears the scent of many cigars I'm sure.
Unless you're some kind of champion slow smoker, pipes suck for tubing. There's just too much crap to try and keep dry.

Save travels and congrats again.

I like how they are pre cut, I assume to limit mess while driving. Also ash frequently, you don't need a hot crotch that's cigar ash related
