Recommendations
Hello fellow Bums: Need recommendations for decent Dominicans in the medium strength range, at $10 or less. Need everyday smoke that doesn't bankrupt me. Thanks and have a great Saturday.

Fuente Gran Reserva line. Personal choices are Churchill, 858s, Double Chateau and Petite Corona. Always solid construction, usually hover around $5-8 a stick, cheaper by the box. Or you can hit up the 5-Pack Frenzy on

I'll second Jesse's recommendation, and add the Fuente Hemingway line too which is sublime.
EP Carrillo's core line is good and right in the medium range, and the New Wave are a wonderful example of mild-medium for about half your top price.
La Aurora 107 line in natural leaf is really nice, and the lancero is awesome.
If you want to try a big, strong Dominican leaf sometime, I love the La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero, especially in the chiselito vitola. You'll taste these the next day though.

Wow, Someone Knows Me
Nestor Miranda Collection Connecticut or Habano, Sosa Classic if you prefer a little less spice and more sweet leather flavors, Bahia Gold White label is a little stronger and yes I know its Nicaraguan can be had for well under $9 a stick in fact on the CI site the Sosa and Bahia are currently on sale fore between 3 and 6 a stick
There is an art to bombing. My aim is to perfect that art.

I'm another on Jesse's side. The Fuentes are the kings of the DR.

Rhymes with "seed"
Does it have to be a Dominican puro?
Here are a few DR cigars, but I'm not sure if they are 100% puros:
La Palina Classic
E.P. Carrillo New Wave Reserva
NUB Cafe
Davidoff Winston Churchill The Artist (Corona) (only under $10/stick if you buy it by the brick)

Check out some of the Kristoff lines. They aren't DR puros but many use Dominican leaf. Great body and flavor without a ton of strength and under $10. Aging Room is another brand with some good Dominican smokes. Might not be puros but I think their lines mostly use Dominican leaf for filler/binder.

Yep. The AF selections are my favorite Dominicans.
And plenty of them can be had for under the $10 mark. Most of them in fact. My go to is the Hemingway.
Check out my Youtube channel, Razorback Piper Guy if you like that sort of thing.

Bummin' Around
Just lit an Aging Room Small Batch mezo toro. Very nice smoke. $9.00 when I picked it up in one of the cigar shops in Gettysburg. Should find them cheaper on line. Well within you range.
