    Thoughts on the Quesada Mega-Sampler

So I'm thinking about picking this sampler up for some yard/golf/fishing cigars. At 2 bucks a pop I figure I can't go wrong... but I want to see if any BOTLs have tried these sticks and what their impressions were.

    Quesada Mega-Sampler - Cigars International

    The sampler includes:

    4 - Quesada Heisenberg Robusto (5" x 48)
    4 - Quesada Tributo Julio (5" x 50)
    4 - Fonseca 5-50 (5" x 50)
    4 - Fonseca Cubano Limitado Robusto (5" x 52)
    4 - Fonseca Exclusivo Robusto (5.5" x 52)

Has anyone tried any of these? How were they? Is this sampler worth $40 in your opinion?

    Thanks in advance!

EDIT: If anyone has a current CI free shipping code please fill me in!

The Fonsecas I've had were all excellent smokes. I think the name Quesada speaks for itself and you probably can't go wrong here! Enjoy

I think it was Bill that sent me a few of those. I haven't tried the Quesada's yet, but the Fonseca was good and well worth $2.00 a pop. I don't remember which, but it was one of the two at the bottom of your list...

The only Quesada I have had was the Oktoberfest, and well worth more than $2 a stick. I'd wager these are worth the price tag and then some.

Truth be told I have no room to store this and I really shouldn't be looking for more ... but it seems too good a deal to pass up!

There is literally always a deal to be had on cigars. Look for deals on your go to smokes or stuff off your wish list. Buying because something looks too good to pass up is getting hook, line, and sinkered exactly how they want you to. Not saying the cigars aren't worth it, Ive yet to smoke a Quesada I wouldn't happily pay $2 for, just the philosophy is the wrong approach to buying IMO.

Troof. I have quite a bit of willpower when it comes to spending money on myself, but I'm down to just a few cigars left for yardwork, fishing, golfing, etc. Last year was Punch Bareknuckle and Nestor Miranda Doppelbok. Now I have like 3 of each left.

I hate to burn one of my favorites while doing something else that takes way from my focus, so I look for cheaper cigars that still taste good enough to smoke but don't demand my entire attention. I figured with the Quesada name these would be safe bets.

The Heisenbergs are my new-found favorite of the year, not because of any great price, but just because I think they're great. Far above any yard 'gar, imho, and the rest of that sampler, too, but that is only my guess. Good luck and let us know how they turn out.
