I posted already that I'm not picky but I've gotta caveat that. I'm actually a bit of a diva when it comes to burn/draw. I used to fight with plugged cigars, huff and puff, poke holes, etc to get them to smoke. Now, I throw them bitches in the compost pile. I find it frustrates me; takes me out of my happy smoking place. Nah, I'll just go get another out of the humi.

I've seen pigs in boxes and I've seen pigs raised for slaughter.

Picky in the way the OP used it. I'll try anything and smoke it to the nub to see if it gets better, but so far, there are only 10-12 cigars that I buy by the box and keep on hand.

Variety and trying new cigars is part of my interest in the hobby, and from time to time I'll buy two of something new, that I've read about, or that just catches my eye, that's how I find new cigars to add to my 10-12.

Lately I've been on a quest to find the best inexpensive cigars---have tried alot of dog rockets---and found one or two gems. Most of what I smoke is in the $6 to $7 range, but there are a couple of $17 cigars that I love, and I want some $3 cigars in my rotation to keep my average cost below $8.

I've gotten to be picky, in the sense that I'm not experimenting, anymore.

I'll smoke pretty much anything if I'm not footing the bill. If I'm buying it, I tend to be more selective. I'm still in the phase of trying new sticks most of the time.

What had turned out to your liking, after your experimentation?
It's not a real hobby unless it interferes with your work.

Pretty much the Padron 1964 Exclusivio Maduro and the Anejo 46 are my favorites. I like the Oliva V Double Robusto, too, but they're my "not paying attention" smoke - like reading or driving.
