I know Emersons always has a good stock of Padron - check out their site. May have to pay VA tax of about 20%, but the good news is a bill is going through to reduce tobacco tax to match around the top 10 lowest states.

I would take any Padron 1000 series over their more expensive cigars. I have never been let down by them.
About a month ago cigar warehouse in Dallas said they got a big shipment in
Got my 4000 Naturals in yesterday. Cant wait to try one, but I'm trying to be patient and give them at least a weeks rest, even though only 1 cigar I have ever tried rott was not to my liking, but was much improved after 6-9 months in my tupperdor.
Everything else has always been just fine within a week of arriving. I dont think vendors store/ship really high rh cigars like they used to, where they would taste or burn like crap without a few months to acclimate. They all seem to arrive ready to smoke anymore, so not sure why I'm waiting, just an exercise in willpower I guess, lol.
Wrapper is about a medium brown, so curious to see how much darker the Maduros are given their sorting process.
Plan to keep back the money for a fiver next month and just keep checking my usual vendors, plus the new ones i just learned about in this thread, that apparently have high odds of having them in stock if you keep checking.
Also going to hold back 1 Natural to do a back to back (not literally, more like the Natural for my morning smoke, and the Maduro 3hrs later for my pre-lunch smoke) comparison and see how much difference i notice.
I did this with the lighter and then darker wrapper QDO50's a while back and it was interesting, and did definitely notice a difference.
Thanks for all the great info and recommendations guys. As usual, the members came through for me with their extensive experience and knowledge.
I friggin love cigars
Unless stored wet, Padron is one cigar you can smoke rott
Humidimeter leveled out at 71rh, so should unfortunately probably let them sit a week and test again and repeat until its below 70.
71 just seems like there would be burn issues and possibly a sour/bitterness on the finish.
That said, i didn't get the calibrator i asked for for Christmas, and the mfg. Says +/-2%, so i dont know if mine reads high or low. Will hopefully get it for my birthday. If not, I'll just buy one. They are relatively cheap.

I really love the 4000 naturals. I think they really improve by putting them down for 6-12 months.
