Original release better than later releases of same cigar?
How do you feel about this comment?
I think this is often true. Different crop from different years tobacco I am sure can make a difference. I think more time and testing likely goes into the original release. Anyone care to comment on this?

Totally agree. I think some companies do a much better job with consistency than others. For example, Padron, Fuente, Oliva among others have excellent consistency in their cigars, IMO. A great example of the changes would be Alec Bradley when they first hit big. I also think it's probably way easier for the big manufacturers to maintain consistency with their purchasing power.

I don't think I've been smoking long enough to know. But it is an interesting topic I'm looking forward to see what others have to say about.
I don't have emotions, and sometimes that makes me very sad.

I noticed that with the AB Presnado. The first batch I smoked, I had trouble not trying to eat them they were so good. The second time I got some, I couldn't even keep them lit at 63 RH.....
