Oliva Cigars and Flor De Oliva
Are they the same company? One is famous for the Oliva Melanio and the other for the budget Flor De Oliva line.

This is a copy and paste....
“I was smoking the ‘zero latitude’ last night and I thought this cigar is okay but this is not like any Oliva cigar that I have had, which is a brand I enjoy. So I was curious. There is the “Oliva Cigar Company” which is apparently different from Oliva Tobacco Co. The family-owned Tabacalera Oliva Tabolisa, known in the United States as the “Oliva Cigar Co.”, traces its roots back to Melanio Oliva, who first began to produce tobacco in Pinar del Rio, Cuba in 1886. They make the cigars I like. The Oliva Tobacco Company is run by John E. Oliva, out of Tampa, FL. They are tobacco growers founded in Cuba during the 1920s. Not the same guys.”
I'm just saying that there are two Oliva's, but I don't know which the Flor is...

Like my father before me, I will work the land,
And like my brother before me, I took a rebel stand.

Not saying that CI is 100% right but FdO and Oliva's are all stocked in the same area at my local shop and they keep all the same brands together..

There are definitely 2 Olivas but only 1 actually makes cigars. The other only grows and sells tobacco. Flor de Oliva are made by the same company that makes Oliva cigars.
We're going to need a bigger humidor
