My obsession currently is completing a wineador of my own. I have a vinotemp vt34 and just ordered Spanish cedar drawers and shelves. For now I opened my tupperadors and set them on the wine bottle racks. May have to start a build thread soon...
Let's go invent tomorrow instead of worrying about what happened yesterday.

    Woodcraft Search for spanish cedar

Still looking to be pretty expensive. Any clue how much it cost anyone who's built one, per shelf?
Never mind this post, I'm losing my mind...

I'll have to give them a call. I'm gonna need some in the somewhat near future and they arent that far away.

I'm lucky that we have a few good lumber yards in the area. Makes getting just about any wood relatively cheap and easy.

My obsessions are pretty mild - I wouldn't really call them obsessions at all. More like strong interests, but short of obsessions. So here's my list:

I love cigar memorabilia - old tools and such, especially ones I can still use. I have an old cigar-box opening and closing tool with a bottle opener on it from the 30s, and I have a vintage woven wood 3-stick cigar carrying case. Also for carrying cigars I have a Walt Disney World 3-stick cigar box. I don't know how old it is, but the original price tag on it said $1.80. When were 3 brevas cigars at Disney World $1.80? When it isn't carrying cigars on a cruise ship, it'll be displaying my NOS book of Disneyland Tobacco Shop matches, together with future similar acquisitions.

I love to burn up cigars that some people might think are collectible. I'll collect the experience, thank you. So, you may wonder how the original price tag was on the Disney World box? Because it was still wrapped in cellophane and contained the original cigars. When I smoke one, I'll document the experience. I also came across a few clear Havana cigars that are sitting in my coolidor waiting for their turn on the firing line. Another experience to be documented.

Roll your own - I have come up with two blends that meet 2/3 of my NC preferences, and a 3rd waiting for testing to see if it's the 3/3. The goal is to convert my smoking habit to almost entirely home-rolled and Swiss and Hong Kong cigars, with only a few NC purchases for nostalgic reasons.
    Insert witty comment here ...
