Oy that would be awful for the shops local to me. They already lose out on business from online sites without tax. What little sticks I do buy local for a decent price will be out of touch.

I only shopped "local" because it was on my way home. Since I moved offices nothing is convenient. So I will just continue to shop online.

As sad as it is to see small businesses suffer I refuse to pay any added taxes that were part of that dip$#!+$ plan. He has screwed up enough already under the guise of feel good laws. If anyone actually believes this, or anything passed will help close the budget gap then they are dumber than your average ham sandwich.

I only have one small shop local to me, which is C&C and they aren't surviving off of cigars. I try and support them, but if they get too much higher I just can't. Real concern would be a shipping ban across state lines. That would be a huge blow

If they banned I would be driving to Cigars International every month to "check" on their inventory.

Gentlemen... Smokin' Bear down here in Steamburg NY. Native owned and tax free. And closer than CI. And they can ship within state.
Their website is no good as they have to list at MSRP and don't keep it updated but a pretty good selection of the non-boutique smokes at good prices. You can e-mail Bob and mention my name and he'll give you the real prices. And I usually am over there every few weeks to a month and can always pick something up. I can usually get a little off which would make up for shipping ..... just sayin

Doesn't help with grabbing a few sticks to smoke at a lounge near you and on auction or discounted stuff still easier and better to buy online but on the non-discounted stuff like Fuente, Padron, Liga especially boxes you might want to take a drive.

Other than this shop I do everything online anyways as no shops close to me.
No cigar until you get a par - birdie if it's a scramble !
