I really thought you smoked them
Well technically you can, unless it's a Guten Cala.
I cut them to the diameter of inside humidor windows to block out light.
Cut them into 1"x 1" date and box code labels.
Sandwich them in between large stacks of cigars.
Make cedar floors over the bottom of paper dress boxes.
I also usually save them and throw them into humidors that have the room.
Buffer (maybe) and smell, what the hell.
If it is a tubo do you also take the cedar sleeve out?
You can light a cigar with the cedar sleeve still on by sliding it out part way first:

OR once removed, fold it over on itself several times and use it as a cedar spill. You might only need half of it.
I have also used them to tighten up the seal of my (cheap) humidor by wedging them into the slight gap of the lip.
