I had a great weekend of cigar smoking fun. Friday evening enjoyed a full size Hyde (froze my balls off by the way), a Pudgy Frank on Saturday (my first garage cigar of the fall due to freezing said balls of the previous evening), and a Skinny Drac and a Pudgy Drac last evening for Monsters 28, 29, 30 and 31 for the month. Oh yeah!

Another Month of Monsters has come to a close. I ended the month with my first Michael last evening for Monster #32. While Michael seems to be getting pretty rave reviews so far, I will say I wasn't a fan last night. I'm not normally a big habano wrapper fan anyway and the cigar was still way too wet. I had terrible burn issues. So it looks like the rest of my Michael box will be taking a long nap and hopefully they've improved when they come back out in six months or so. The only other Monsters I've had fresh were Hyde and Krueger and I found the same with them. I didn't like the first one I smoked but after six months of rest they have been great. Hopefully the same will happen here.

Great work all this month. Monsters (and any other cigar for that matter) are meant to be smoked and enjoyed, not hoarded and collected. Thanks for playing along!

Number 13 for me last night. I do like habano wrappers so I did enjoy the taste of the cigar, but I did experience some of the burn issues also

Had a Skinny Face last night while handing out candy. Sat in my driveway with a firepit going. The cold weather affected the cigar, so it was a little more work than I like.

I plan on smoking my last monster, a Skinny Frank, tonight. I figure it's Dia de los Muertos, or All Saints Day if you prefer, so it still counts.

Monsters are for all year! If you want a Monster Pro tip - drink a Café Au Lait or Café Latte with the Skinny Frank. It is THE PERFECT compliment to that cigar. Either way, enjoy and smoke Monsters year-round!
