I find it funny you mention this now I almost bought some chisels this week. Found a decent deal but just didn't need to play more tetris.
The Air Bender Natural Chisel was a very good smoke - tastewise. I see a couple vitolas outside the Chisel that I like - Matatan and Ponderso - that I should be able to try over at another B&M.

It may have just been this one Chisel, but it's tobacco-fill seemed to be the problem. Poor burn and smoke draw, yet very open draw. You could see good size gaps on the cap end and it was pretty spongy. Will need to keep the sponginess in mind on my next Chisel purchase. Haven't had a cigar act this bad in a very long time, so I'm a bit skeptical - but this is my first Chisel.

    Title changed.

    I like the LFDs.
    1994 are good.
I really like the La Nox. A tasty, smaller cigar.
Like Josh said, there isn’t a lot of hype around them. I think the Andalusian Bull has had the most.

I have purchased some LG Small Batch, several years ago and they were excellent, but not sure if worth the hefty price tag. But then again, so are many limited release AF, where I think the price is more hype driven. The LG small batch are probably just as rare, if not more so, but you don’t have everyone chasing them down.

I don’t see a lot of LFD around. I know a couple local B&M carry them. One used to have a LFD lounge where they were the flagship cigar. It, unfortunately closed due to a mostly bad location.

Was that the location that carried the LFD college world series cigar?

I was hoping you'd comment. Seems like you and @Ciro would probably be the guys that've smoked a lot of LFD.

    How'd that Double treat ya?

What's been your experience with the Chisels?

I love me some LFD. Probably 3rd favorite brand might be higher but local B&M rarely had them. Chisels are good but I am not real picky on size and shape. Honestly find the Andelusian Bull and the La volcada to be average compared to the rest of their line. Chaper 1 might be my favorite but I really enjoy the full lineup. I did not read this thread till today. Lfd tends to be strong and full flavored. Grab yourself a Digger and enjoy. NAS is boarderline a joke cigar. I enjoy them but not many people put them in regular rotation.

    It was very good.
Odd I know, but I got a flavor hit of Diet Dr Pepper, without the sweetness. I know there is probably a better description, but that is what came to me. Burn and smoke was excellent.

8.5×60 is a BEHEMOTH! Might have to save that one for an Orgy or summertime V-Herf stick with you coaching and inspiring me along.

Looked up the NAS before you posted this. Might need you in a similar capacity as a midwife to get me through that badboy. But I would give it a shot before the Digger.
