What is it about the Lancero....????

I love Lanceros and feel every cigar smoker should try at least one and see what you think.

I agree on smoking them slow and easy. For some reason I seem to spend more time focusing on a Lancero than any other vitola while I smoking. It just seems to draw my attention. Kinda weird ain't it?:cool:

Not sure what to call the MUWAT KFC Delfinas that I'm smoking right now as it's a 6x26 sized vitola? Maybe a Super Lancero?...

I think the Delfina would be a Panatela, 'nuther of my faves, LOL. I was all set to order some, until they jacked the price
on them like 130%. I'll wait for them to hit the Monster, now, LOL.

The commentary on the talent needed to roll the size would seem to make sense with regard to their cost.
The Lance is most often the costliest in a line-up to try, though one would think it uses LESS tobacco per stick.

My sig-line is a thumbnail to what I've tried so far, though I may be forgetting one or two. Most recent gems that I've found
were some Nestor Miranda Special Seleccione on closeout from a local 'grocer'. Yes, we have a high-end chain in town
catering to wealthier folks. They actually have a nice walk-in humidor in each location.

Wow. I've been away from DE too long. Those are cheap too. Never been much fan of the KFC but like to keep a few on hand. Thanks for reminding me.

IMO they aren't something you want to sit on so if you get em burn em. The one I had with 6 months on it tasted nothing like they do fresh.

Thanks for all the great info guys. Keep the opinions on which are your picks for good ones to try. I'm gonna pick up a couple different ones to give a try.

Strange because I have the opposite experience. If I am working from home and on the computer all day, I grab a lancer because I don't have to baby it or pay too much attention to it. I can put it down for a couple of minutes and pick it up after admiring a piece of code I just wrote and it smokes like a champ. Just goes to show how interesting this hobby is that different people can have different thoughts about the same cigar.

I went back and checked and I paid $11.50 a five pack for the Delfinas. Now they're $27.50...
