They arrived this morning. Four five-packs smothered in bubble wrap. Jorge is not the most sophisticated vendor I've dealt with, but he packed them well, and shipped them fast. Included a nice little hand-written note, and like I said before, was pleasant to talk to and communicated well by text through the order process.

May have to try one later this evening.
Nice! I look forward to a first impression on these. I am off this weekend but Bike Week starts so I am definitely staying away from Daytona for the next 2 weeks

I was actually going to wait before I tried one of these, but after examining the cigar, decided I had to smoke one.

DISCLAIMER: This is more my impression of the cigar rather than an actual review. I'll leave that to someone with a more refined palette than mine.

On visual inspection I noted the cigar was firm, not hard, not soft. The wrapper was clear and free of defects, with the barber pole blending nicely with the other wrapper. I did note in the bundle that some of the cigars had a base wrapper leaf of (?) habano, and others had what appeared to a candela (greenish) wrapper. The unlit aroma of the cigar was a little sweet, aromatic.

The unlit draw was smooth and free. When lit, the draw was smooth and even. The cigar burned slow, it took me about two hours to smoke the toro size that I bought. The cigar burned evenly throughout the smoke, with no need to touch it up, and no need to relight it. I would describe this as a mild to medium smoke, but with plenty of flavor throughout.

I really enjoyed smoking this cigar. At this time, I have no regrets on buying these. Since he sells by the stick, I may mix the order up with some of his other blends. This was a great cigar ROTT. I would definitely order from Jorge again.

Yes I have smoked JNV cigars, my recommendation is to smokes as many as you can get. To tell you the truth in the past 40 years I have smoked all verities of cigars and JVN are some of the best. The price belittles the actual vibrancy of these cigars. I just think Jeorge is a master blender and roller who loves every aspect of the cigar. He's also a very remarkable and kind man. So, my recommendation smokes these cigars, you will not be disappointed.
