JC Newman Factory Tour (Ybor City)

Oh man! If it was after 2pm I would 100% have joined you. I do have PTO, but our company has a black out on PTO for 11/27-12/18 since it is our busiest time :(
I've toured there before, years ago when we were working with them on a cheaphumidors custom cigar. It was a great tour and they were super friendly. Eric Newman actually told me that he thought I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a hand-rolled and machine-rolled cigar :shocked: He was wrong... but the cigar wasn't disappointing. We have worked with them this past year on some items for their gift shop. The rooster coasters & shadow boxes are from our sister company, Torched Products.

I'm jealous of those of you who have toured factories, visited the DR, Cuba, or Ybor City, or work in the cigar industry in some way.

You live the dreams of a cigar nut like me.

Best I have ever done is visit Casa Fuente in Vegas and meet and hang out with Carlito Fuente. I was star struck when I saw him walk in,lol

Great guy and seems to truly appreciate his customers.

Had him autograph my personally engraved, limited production, bottle of Jack Daniel's they were selling for CFCF. I didn't even like dark liquor, but try to support charities and thought it would make a neat keepsake, especially after he autographed it. Also got a great picture with him. Really wish it wasn't somewhere in storage 6 hrs away. Would love to have it on my wall here, and have the bottle too.
