I have a friend who has a vinyl record collection numbering upwards of 20,000. I once asked him how many Rolling Stones records he has and in about 0.7 seconds he replied "86".
I for one, am not that obsessive with keeping inventory, be it mentally, digitally, or hard copy. Maybe if I had a reason besides for the heck of it, like to make sure no one's getting into my stash, I'd some sort of database system, but for now, it's just footloose and fancy free.
smoke em so fast never had this problem
I never did inventory on any of my personal cigars, I only found it useful while selling tobacco to keep records. Otherwise, when I empty a box, I know that box is empty. :stogie:
I don't really have enough right now to worry about inventorying them but have been giving thoughts on how I would do it. It seems to me that maybe it is gonna be more time and work than necessary. Maybe I'll just spend that extra time enjoying a good smoke :stogie:

I have a tupperdor, tool box, wine cooler and wood humidor. My inventory is more of what is where. I hate digging through all my stuff to find the one I am looking for. I am still trying to consolidate to make it easier. The problem is, I keep getting more sticks in the mail.... I promise(fingers crossed) that I am done buying for a while.
I did liquidate one Tupperdor though. Now I need to liquidate another.
My total inventory is 19 cigars, so no, I do not have this problem :)
I only keep inventory on full box purchases (what, how much, where) and until there are 5 or less in the box. Then they get deleted from the spreadsheet and tossed in with the singles.
