Image Hosting

Guys-

As many of you know, Photobucket is now wanting to have everyone pay a substantial sum for 3rd party hosting. Mine was working fine until today. Most of you all have already switched, but just in case. I wanted to stick a thread with a few alternatives that you can use if you haven't switched yet.

Flickr (owned by Yahoo, if you already have a yahoo email address, it's easy to sign up)
ImageShack
TinyPic

If you notice awards are missing or you see any other problems with the site, please let us know.

If you all have any other suggestions of sites you use, feel free to add them to the list. Also, photobucket.

The worst part is that it looks like all of the old threads with useful photos are affected by this. On the way to get them back is either rehost elsewhere, and change the link, or else pay the photo bucket extortion!

I don't mind them charging, but don't like that previously hosted as free photos changed. I guess "we should have known" as nothing's really free

Just in need of clarification when posting pics, as this is the first forum I've been part of:

1. If I delete an attachment to free space, I'm assuming the thread's picture will be deleted as well. Is this correct?

2. Are the above image hosting websites what everyone is using to post pics to circumvent the storage allotment?

Jesse nay be busy with Jesse's girl, some times you take that Chance. If you delete the image to free space then it will break the link in the thread, aka no picture.

I have been using imgur, I know some people use tapatalk and post through there. @Oldsmoky gets @WNYTONY to post them for him 😆. are you posting from a pc or a phone/tablet? That may make some options easier than others.

I use Postimage.org, simple and works well, even on a mobile browser.
