Lonely Wandering Bum
Herrera Esteli Lonsdale Deluxe
I've been curious about Willy Herrera's blends, particularly the Lonsdale Deluxe. I've yet to stumble across the Esteli Lonsdale in any of the SW Houston and Sugar Land area B&M's that I visit.
I enjoy reading cigar reviews and compare others opinions and taste against my own. The forum and blog reviews that I've read concerning the Herrera Esteli Lonsdale Deluxe blend have been extremely positive.
Anyone here have any negative comments (other than price) concerning the Herrera Esteli Lonsdale Deluxe? Any negative experiences with the other Herrera Esteli vitolas?

Full-on Scraggly Bum
Nothing negative to say about this vitola. I do prefer the lonsdale over the other sizes. I find it's profile very cubanesque but with more depth to the flavors. The other sizes are very good but due to the higher RG the flavors are thicker/heavier than the lonsdale. The person to ask is HIM. This is his desert island cigar.

I wouldn't post unless you specifically asked for negative experiences, but I've smoked one and had trouble with the construction and I didn't think it tasted great either.
I found my old review, and noticed a couple guys in the thread mentioning wrapper problems too, but one said he'd smoked 3 boxes and only the first batch seemed to have the thin wrapper and then later batches were good.
Almost everyone likes these, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.
Here's the found review from Pxxx reposted to our site.

The HE lonsdale is indeed my favorite cigar. Nothing negative I could say about it I think its the best in the line. The OR did have thinner wrappers but I believe that as since changed. If you ever go for a box buy them when Famous runs their 20% off sales it knocks the price down a good bit.

I had one with terrible burn problems, tight draw, kept going out. But I find lanceros and lonsdales are more prone to that anyway. You want to smoke them slower, but if it's rolled too tightly, it's going to be a real struggle to keep it lit. The flavor was enjoyable when I wasn't busy trying to get it to burn properly. It's on the list to try again. I've had other HEs that I liked very much.

Pretty spot on. Smaller the better with HEs....
Held out for a while on these sticks, but they are indeed worth the hype.

They are a great smoke. I don't think you can go wrong with any size.
