Help id'ing Cigar
I was gifted 2 of these, and the only lanceros I see are the Don Carlos, but this has the black band Gran Reserva band, which I do see in some pics on a Google search.
Also, they show as having a cedar wrap and black foot band, which mine dont.
I'm told they are 2013 manufacture if that helps.
What exactly do I have here?
Thanks,
Sean

Not sure what it is but the band does not look right for the old Don Carlos bands

The gifter may have told me it was a Don Carlos when he told me the year, since that's how I have it in my inventory app, but I can't recall. Sent him a text a while ago and I trust him 100% on it being whatever he says it is

Regardless, it was perfect in every regard and extremely tasty

The bomber chimed in on another forum and he said its a Don Carlos and he removed the cedar for long term aging, and I have been told that earlier Don Carlos' had this band vs the newer ones with a Don Carlos band.
Regardless, the lanceros are only made as Casa Fuentes and Don Carlos, and both are pretty much unobtainable, so sadly wont be able to get more, which is a shame as it was honestly one of the best nc's I have ever had. It was just amazing in every regard.
Might be able to scrounge up a couple in a trade or private sale, but probably not likely as I don't see many people being willing to give up any as they are so good and almost impossible to get.
