help with new cigar humidor block ops cc#4 disc

So I just got a new 4 cigar humidor but my stupid noob question is that it has this little round humidification disc. I can't find any instructions on how to charge it. I just guess I put it in the xikar solution? Kind of stumped on this one. Also, no I can't figure out how to make the picture right side up, just go with me here.

It should pop out and the back should be open to add solution. I ended up just ignoring that disk and tossing in a small boveda pack for humidification when I use mine.

That disc is....well, horrible. It won't hold any significant amount of water, and they usually will drip down on your delicious stogies!!!

Do yourself a favor and grab some heartfelt beads or a boveda pack to put in that humi.

Since it is a 4 cigar case I am assuming that it will be used for evenings out or at the most a day or two. If that is the case then there is really no need for any type of humidification.

For short term storage, a day or 3 you're fine with no humidification. I have found that if you leave a Boveda pack in there with no cigars it will dry out in very short order so I keep a small Boveda pack in my main humidor and throw it in when I load the cigars in the travel humi and take it out when I'm done.
We're going to need a bigger humidor

I'm with the rest. just ignore it and get some Heart beads and you will have nothing to worry about. Side note when i tried charging my case the forest sponge as i call it fell apart on my and created a mess.

Pick up a ten pack of these babies. Just recharge them (search this forum, it's a piece of cake) when they start getting "stiff" and you can make 13 bucks last a loooong time.
