They never are. Godfather II is the exception, hardly the rule. ;)

I loved the fight scenes in 1-3, but hated how they nearly turned them into G movies, especially that stupid Roger Rabbit idiot! I guess the Ewoks were a bit silly too, but not quite to the same level.
As much as I love MMA and the fight scenes of 1-3 I felt it detracted a bit from 4-6 making them look inexperienced in comparison.
I'm interested how 7-9 will turn out.
I was living in Phoenix and stood outside for 2 hours in a sand storm to watch the original Star Wars. They were one of 3 locations in the U.S. that was getting an early showing. It didn't get released nationwide for almost 2 months later.
I am not a movie guy so I don't know what the trilogy is that you speak of.
The first 3 (episodes 4-6) were the first trilogy. Then the second trilogy (episodes 1-3) were released much later (2000's), and now we are beginning the third trilogy with episodes 7-9 but with Abrams (?) making them instead.
Oh, and you ain't really fooling me as only a movie guy would do such!
My first wife was a movie gal. The last movie I went to a theatre and watched was Forrest Gump. Seriously, I am not a movie guy. But, once I retire and should I decide to begin watching movies I will have a lot of movies to catch up on. To many other things I enjoy doing other than sitting around watching a movie. Weird I know.
I really figured that you were joking. There's no way I'd stand in line that long without a sandstorm!
